Femlo is exclusively engaged in the development and production of cultivation-technical products for professional horticulture. Production takes place entirely in the Netherlands and we have our own development department so we can respond quickly to market needs.
History
In 1972, Frans and Louis Keijzer took over “Kwekerij Emperor” from their father.
In 1978, besides cultivating plants, they started injection moulding plastic pots for their own use. Soon they started selling to colleague growers.
Since the 80’s there is big experience in the production of cultivation-technical fasteners for professional horticulture.
Emperor grew into a modern injection moulding company, and a leading supplier to the horticultural sector.
In 2001, Frans and Louis Keijzer left the company through a management buy out.
Femlo
In 2007, under the name “Femlo”, Frans and Louis Keijzer placed their focus entirely on the sale and development of clips.
Since April 2019 the complete Femlo production takes place on a completely new equipped production site in Alphen aan den Rijn.
